We are seeking a Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our friendly, patient‑focused team in Haven pharmacy, Riverview. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Irish pharmacy experience who is passionate about customer care and enjoys helping people in their community.

About the Role

This role is ideally full time, though part‑time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
As the first point of contact for customers, the Pharmacy Counter Assistant plays a key role in providing a welcoming and professional service. You’ll support the pharmacist and team in delivering exceptional customer‑centred care, ensuring every patient receives the time, attention, and advice they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to all customers.
• Assisting with over‑the‑counter sales and product recommendations.
• Supporting the dispensary and pharmacy team with day‑to‑day operations.
• Handling customer queries, prescriptions, and transactions accurately.
• Maintaining stock levels, merchandising, and cleanliness of the retail area.
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies and health & safety standards.
• Key role in Common Conditions Service

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working in an Irish community pharmacy is preferable.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, reliable, and personable with a caring attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €31,200.00-€35,000.00 per year
