Position: Shop Manager

Reporting to: Area Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and competent person for the role of Shop Manager

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• To achieve sales targets as agreed in key sales categories
• To facilitate an expert service and advice centre for dispensary, OTC healthcare and dermo-cosmetics
• To maintain cash and creditor accounting procedures
• To maintain the highest standard in pharmacy presentation
• To manage a team of up to 9 employees and be a team player.
• To ensure that the shop is properly stocked at all times and manage stocktaking and placing orders

Occasional Duties:

• To attend meeting/training sessions as required
• To carry out any other reasonable request made by Senior Management

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a mature organised individual with the ability to work on own initiative and with strong team leadership capabilities
• Have experience in both dispensary and front of shop , Cosmetics , and will exhibit excellent customer care.
• Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow through on all shop issues
• Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively motivate other team members
• Use dispensary and OTC , Cosmetic & Skincare expertise to give customers the best benefit of the products we sell
• Lead the team in giving advice and providing excellent care to our customers
• Provide guidance and support for new and existing employees, with
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

This will be a full-time role, normally working 40 hours per week

Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Naas, CO. Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
