Job Title: Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in compounding non-sterile medications to patients. The Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy by accurately and efficiently handling prescriptions and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, assisting patients at the counter, and addressing inquiries
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately
- Adhere to aseptic techniques when preparing medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Compounding Pharmacy Technician
- Certification or diploma from an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and pharmaceuticals
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
