Our Pharmacy is based in the town of Blarney, Co Cork. The role involves working in the dispensary, preparing prescriptions while also advising and selling over-the-counter medicines and general duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers, including dispensary work, blister packing and OTC sales.
- Dispensary system in use is MPS
- Ensure all drugs are fit for supply and in date. Stock must be regularly checked/rotated to identify expired or short dated stock and dealt with according to pharmacy procedures.
- Be familiar with ordering procedures related to the dispensary and front of shop, maintain adequate stock levels through accurate stock figures and order placement with suppliers and dealing with sales reps for your front of shop designated areas.
- Receive and store incoming supplies, checking quantities against invoices.
- Customer Service.
- Any other duties as required to ensure the effective running of the pharmacy.
This is a permanent position for a part time experienced technician. Previous experience in pharmacy essential.
