Pharmacy O'Regan Tallaght are currently recruiting an Experienced Qualified Pharmacy Technician. Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy essential. 3 days per week, no late nights, Sunday's or bank holidays.

The Pharmacy Technician will work as part of a reliable team, supporting our Pharmacists dispensing prescriptions, delivering expert advice and working in a fast paced environment. With a customer led approach to ensure customers remain at the heart of everything we do.

Key responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Gather and prepare medication for dispensing under the supervision of the Pharmacist
• Process and tracking of claims
• Preparation of blister packs.
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering medicines.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
• Provide proactive reliable customers service and advice to customers on OTC when required.

The ideal candidate will:

• Pharmacy Technician experience in a busy Irish Pharmacy.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Must be personable, reliable and punctual.
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Be organised and motivated
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
• Experience with McLernons an advantage
