LOCATION: Littlepace Pharmacy, Littlepace Shopping Centre, Clonee, Dublin 15

POSITION TYPE: Full-time

ABOUT THE ROLE

Littlepace Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician or an Experienced Dispensary Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

Whether you are already a qualified technician or have at least 2 years of hands-on dispensary experience and are eager to advance, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, community-focused dispensary team. We are keen to invest in our team's future. For an experienced dispensary assistant showing strong aptitude and commitment, support towards completing the formal Pharmacy Technician qualification may be considered following a successful qualifying period.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accurately preparing, dispensing, and labelling prescription medications under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist.

- Managing dispensary stock, ordering, date-checking, and maintaining optimal stock control.

- Handling paperwork, claims, and monthly scheme submissions (GMS, DPS, LTI, etc.).

- Providing clear, professional customer service and handling patient queries both in person and by phone.

- Maintaining dispensary hygiene, organization, and strict adherence to PSI regulations and pharmacy SOPs.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

- EITHER: Fully qualified Pharmacy Technician (Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies or equivalent),

OR: Minimum of 2 years of regular dispensing experience within an Irish community pharmacy dispensary.

- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proactive attitude with an enthusiasm to learn, upskill, and work well within a collaborative team.
