Phlebotomist Needed Wednesdays 9am To 12pm In Bayonne

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in venipuncture techniques. This position is for Monday thru Friday only, typically 4pm to 8pm

Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure accurate labeling
- Maintain proper documentation of all procedures and patient information
- Follow strict protocols and maintain aseptic technique during blood collection
- Monitor vital signs of patients during the phlebotomy process
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate specimen collection
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, laboratory techniques, and medical terminology
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling methods
- Familiarity with different types of blood collection tubes and their uses
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain attention to detail
