World Through Lens is looking for a talented and passionate Photographer & Cinematographer to join our creative team.

The candidate will be responsible for shooting weddings, pre-weddings, couple shoots, family shoots and destination assignments across Mussoorie, Dehradun and Rishikesh.

We are looking for someone with a strong creative eye, good technical knowledge and an understanding of visual storytelling, who is comfortable working across different locations and shooting environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Capture high-quality photographs for weddings, pre-weddings and lifestyle shoots.
• Shoot cinematic video content for weddings, pre-weddings and couple shoots.
• Handle cameras, lenses, gimbals and other production equipment confidently.
• Understand composition, lighting, framing and cinematic storytelling.
• Interact professionally with clients and ensure a comfortable shooting experience.
• Travel between Mussoorie, Dehradun, Rishikesh and other shoot locations as required.
• Coordinate with photographers, cinematographers and the WTL production team.
• Manage shoot timelines and ensure complete coverage as required for each assignment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1–2 years of relevant photography and/or cinematography experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in wedding and pre-wedding photography or cinematography is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of cameras, lenses, lighting and video equipment.
• Ability to independently handle shoots when required.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Comfortable working flexible hours, weekends and during peak wedding seasons.
• Willingness to travel for shoots across different locations.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE

• Someone who genuinely enjoys travelling and exploring new places.
• Experience with weddings, pre-weddings, destination shoots or lifestyle photography.
• Strong creative eye and interest in cinematic storytelling.
• Comfortable working in outdoor, mountain and changing weather conditions.
• Professional, punctual, reliable and responsible.
• Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio and relevant work samples will be preferred.
