Who You Are:
As a Sports Photographer passionate about our cycling coverage, you will be responsible for capturing, delivering and editing imagery, including stills and video, to meet the content requirements of our organization. Whether working independently or under the mentorship of content directors, chief photographers, or assignment groups, you will apply advanced skills in sports photography, demonstrating proficiency in content creation, lighting techniques, and editing. Your role will primarily encompass shooting global cycling events, from small scale competitions to globally renowned spectacles such as the Tour de France or the Olympics. A primary focus will be on capturing dynamic sports action, moments, and features all while upholding the high standards required to meet client briefs, excel in commercial portraiture and support and continue to develop our creative approach to our cycling photography. Extensive travel, both short and long-term, will be required, reflecting your dedication to delivering outstanding results. Typically this person will have 5+ years professional experience in the world of cycling photography.

Capture, edit, and transmit content for both editorial and commercial purposes.
- Provide accurate descriptions and metadata for content.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships internally and externally.
- Lead by example as a visionary content creator, setting benchmarks for excellence in both editorial and commercial spheres
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Getty Images, encouraging and cultivating relationships to expand opportunities.
- Develops partnerships with clients, industry related organizations and athletes.

Must be industry established and experienced in covering global cycling events, highly-skilled in cycling photography.
- The physical and mental ability to work on the motorbike on a regular basis
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Master camera equipment, lighting, and content editing software
- Technical proficiency in camera setup, remote operation, FTP transmission, and networking.
- Embrace innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
- Ability to capture industry-leading content across:
- Portraiture: Conceptualize and execute creative, compelling portraits, tailored to individual athletes or teams, showcasing artistic vision and technical proficiency
- Features: Utilize extensive relationships to produce insightful features covering various aspects of sports, from grassroots to elite levels.
- Action: Capture industry-leading peak action moments that encapsulate the essence and excitement of sporting events.
- Stock: Anticipate beyond-the-moment coverage by promptly uploading second edits post-event, enriching our stock library with diverse and captivating imagery.
- Event Coverage: Deliver unparalleled content across all facets of assignments, ensuring comprehensive and exceptional coverage.
- Commercial Content: Conceptualize and execute specific client briefs, managing relationships with global sports brands, athletes and governing bodies.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at short notice with flexibility to work for extended periods.
