Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care in a clinical or outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient treatments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as a strong commitment to patient service.
Duties
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Help patients with mobility and provide support during therapy sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Document patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and rehabilitation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential.
- Experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with orthopedics and hospital medicine is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to provide excellent patient service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care and support.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.35 per hour
