Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care in a clinical or outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient treatments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as a strong commitment to patient service.

Duties

Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises.
Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
Help patients with mobility and provide support during therapy sessions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
Document patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist.
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and rehabilitation.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential.
Experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with orthopedics and hospital medicine is a plus.
Strong communication skills to provide excellent patient service.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care and support.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.35 per hour
