Responsibilities:- Meeting and greeting patients.
- Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments.
- Processing patient payments.
- Entering charges, payments, and balancing the day in the computer.
- Accurately completing and documenting patient medical and physical histories and other related items in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Recording vital signs, performing EKG, spirometry and or other similar non-complex office procedures.
- Aiding the physician during treatment, examination, and or testing of patients - may include injections and immunizations.
- Coordinating phone requests to refill prescription drug medications in accordance with physician instructions.
