With a capacity of around 400 beds, Peacehaven Nursing Home provides compassionate, individualized, holistic care to all without discrimination. We offer a comprehensive gamut of services to care for the sick, frail and elderly who have physical or mental disabilities with minimal or no appropriate caregiver support at home.

The Home has 14 separate Resident Living Areas (RLAs), each designed as an individual home-like environment. Hope RLA is specially designed to meet the needs of relatively independent residents with dementia.

About the Job

To provide for the physiotherapy requirements of the Nursing Home residents in accordance with the Allied Health Professions Council guidelines and The Salvation Army's Mission and Philosophy of service provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments for residents new admission
• Conduct 6 monthly Care Plan and programme review
• Prescribe and execute individual and group therapy programme and activities for residents
• Able to assist and engage residents with behaivour of concern
• Review and revise programme schedule for therapy program with proper documentation
• Liaising closely with other healthcare professionals to encourage a holistic approach to Care
• Maintain an inventory list of therapy equipment and ensure regular maintenance is done
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions
• Participate in continuing education, training and research activities when opportunity arises

• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy
• Full registration with APHC

Preferred Candidate Attributes

• Minimum 1 years of working experience in ILTC sector

Working Hours

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes Break inclusive)
