Introduction:
- Working from home any where in Australia - Remote / Telehealth
- Full Time or Part Time - Monday to Friday
- Remuneration: $90k–$100k FTE + Super + PD Allowance
Working closely with insurers, treating health professionals and injured individuals, you will deliver evidence-based clinical guidance, facilitate timely access to treatment and support positive recovery outcomes through a structured telehealth service model.
You'll provide specialist assessment, case management and recovery support for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accident injuries, with a particular focus on whiplash and concussion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth clinical assessments for clients referred through CTP insurers.
- Assess and manage clients presenting with whiplash-associated disorders and concussion-related symptoms.
- Utilise validated outcome measures including the Neck Disability Index (NDI) and psychosocial screening tools to inform recovery planning.
- Develop and coordinate personalised recovery pathways.
- Liaise with treating physiotherapists, GPs and other stakeholders to optimise treatment and recovery outcomes.
- Facilitate referrals to Axis' physiotherapy partner network where appropriate.
- Identify psychosocial barriers to recovery and support referrals to approved behavioural health interventions where indicated.
- Monitor client progress, conduct follow-up reviews and evaluate outcomes throughout the recovery journey.
- Prepare clear, concise and professional clinical reports and insurer updates.
You'll need to be a clinician who combines strong musculoskeletal expertise with excellent communication and case management skills.
Essential
- Degree qualified Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries.
- Strong understanding of whiplash assessment and evidence-based management.
- Experience managing clinical cases and coordinating care across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a remote team environment
- Experience within the CTP, motor accident, workers compensation or occupational rehabilitation sectors.
- Experience managing concussion presentations.
- Knowledge of Queensland and/or New South Wales CTP schemes.
- Previous telehealth experience.
- Training or experience in psychologically informed practice and injury recovery.
- Work from home flexibility - 100% remote
- Fulltime or Part Time at a competitive remuneration circa of $90K-$100K FTE (based on experience, pro rata PT) + superannuation + PD allowance of up to $1,750
