Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physiotherapy Aide, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and well-being. This is a Monday to Friday position from 630am to 145pm. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed physiotherapists by preparing treatment areas, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth, efficient rehabilitation process. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that promotes healing and progress for each patient. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical setting while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for physiotherapy sessions to ensure readiness and safety
- Support the clinical team by managing supplies, sterilizing equipment, and organizing treatment areas
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout therapy sessions, alerting staff to any concerns
- Facilitate communication between patients and therapists to enhance understanding of treatment plans
- Follow infection control protocols diligently to uphold a safe environment for all patients and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered support in a healthcare environment
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for documentation and equipment management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with various tasks as needed

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
