We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy / Kinesiology Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Physiotherapy / Kinesiology Technician, you will work closely with our licensed physiotherapists to assist in the delivery of therapeutic services. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physiotherapists in implementing and monitoring therapeutic exercises and treatment plans.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safety measures.
• Record and monitor patient progress, reporting any significant changes to the physiotherapist.
• Provide support with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Science / Kinesiology preferred
• Bachelors of Art is required
• Previous experience as a physiotherapy technician or in a healthcare support role is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of basic physiotherapy techniques and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as required.

Pay: $17.60-$30.50 per hour
