Key Responsibilities of a Picker Packer:
- Picking: Retrieving items from shelves or storage locations according to an order or pick list.
- Packing: Preparing items for Logistic by placing them in boxes, bags, or other packaging materials, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Labeling: Applying shipping labels with the correct destination and order details.
- Inventory Management: Contributing to inventory accuracy by scanning items and updating inventory records.
- Order Accuracy: Ensuring that orders are filled accurately, with the correct quantities and items.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Material Handling: Moving items using manual or mechanical methods, sometimes including pallet jet.
Skills and Qualities:
- Attention to Detail: Accurately picking and packing orders requires a keen eye for detail.
- Physical Stamina: The job involves standing and walking for long periods, as well as lifting and moving items.
- Organizational Skills: Keeping the work area and inventory organized is crucial.
- Communication Skills: Collaborating with other warehouse workers and communicating with shipping personnel.
- Basic Math Skills: Counting items and verifying order quantities.
- Safety Awareness: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,100.00 - $3,000.00 per month
