Pipeline - Welder Helper

We are currently seeking a Welder Helper to join our team. Welder Helpers assist our Pipeline Welders in various tasks related to welding and fabrication in pipeline construction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist welders in setting up welding equipment and tools
• Keep welding tools and supplies stocked, clean and organized
• Set up of equipment, tools and materials needed to complete daily work assignments
• Use grinders to clean pipe ends to be welded and to clean welds throughout the welding process
• Assist in the fit of pipe joints using pipe clamps, squares, tape measures and levels to assure proper pipe assembly
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees
• Strong Leadership & Work Ethic
• Detail oriented and organized
• Reliable Transportation required
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Be able to work overtime, nights and weekends when required

Experience:

• Prior experience in a welding or fabrication environment
• Familiarity with pipeline construction
