Project Planner
Location: Finland

DECI Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support a major mission critical data center project in Finland.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering and commissioning company working on a complex, high-profile project, supporting planning and programme management within a fast-paced delivery environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, managing and maintaining project schedules while supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale data center programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and maintain detailed project programmes from construction through commissioning and handover
- Produce and update integrated project schedules using industry standard planning tools
- Support programme development across design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
- Monitor project progress against schedule and identify risks, delays and opportunities for recovery
- Carry out critical path analysis and support mitigation planning
- Work closely with project managers, construction teams, commissioning teams and commercial stakeholders to align programme activities
- Prepare lookaheads, progress reports, schedule updates and planning dashboards
- Support schedule risk analysis and reporting to project leadership and clients
- Review subcontractor programmes and integrate package schedules into the master programme
- Participate in progress meetings, planning workshops and coordination reviews
- Support change management impacts on programme and schedule performance
- Contribute to project controls and overall planning strategy on a major live project
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Planner or Project Planner role
- Experience within data centers, mission critical, construction, engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, planning methodologies and programme controls
- Experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Ability to develop and manage complex integrated project schedules
- Experience with critical path analysis, progress measurement and schedule reporting
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery stages
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced international project environment
- Willingness to be based full-time on site in Finland
Desirable
- Data center or mission critical project experience strongly preferred
- Exposure to commissioning planning would be advantageous
- Experience working in client-facing or large multinational project environments
- Knowledge of project controls and earned value reporting beneficial
