  • Contributing to project planning by reviewing construction methods, recommending alternatives, and ensuring alignment with objectives and industry standards.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the contractual programme, tracking milestones, and supporting claims with comprehensive documentation.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships through clear communication and collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing accurate construction programmes, with a focus on clarity and milestone tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and optimise construction methods, workflows, and contractual requirements.
  • Expertise in project planning, including methodology and logistical alignment with project objectives.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone with:

  • A tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in Construction or Project Management.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in a construction planning role.
  • Proven experience in a large construction or multi-project environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent organisation and time management capabilities.
  • Clear and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and align teams to a common approach.
  • Proficient presentation and negotiation skills.

What we offer:
Joining Leighs means being part of a stable, privately-owned business that is passionate about growth and our people.
