There is now an opportunity to join New Development as a Planner!
At New Development our mission is to strengthen the H&M brand through credible fashion forward collections and communication. Our mission is to explore new opportunities within customer offer and develop a new destination for fashion aspires. We currently have five main areas within New Development; The Studio Collections, Guest Design, Global License, External Brands Fashion and Circular Business Models (eg Preloved and Rental).
As a Planner at H&M New Development you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the assortment, demand planning and quantification. Based on the product team´s assortment strategy, drive the right sales channel strategy as well as the right quantification on a regional & global level.
In this role you will work in close collaboration with PM, Business Controller and Product team for The Studio lable and Guest Design, as well as other functions within H&M to secure the best customer offer. You will constantly follow, react, and identify new opportunities based on selling, customer insight and surrounding analysis, in cooperation with the Product team. You strive to reach both short term goals whilst also strengthening brand and customer values for the future.
Optimize the product mix, planning and selling for every region to meet customer demand
In tight collaboration with the Product Manager and the Business Controller you secure the best omni customer offer
Support in identifying opportunities based on brand, customer and sales KPI’s, and act on them
Coach team members and collaborate in creating a successful planning strategy
Secure that the timelines are followed to secure sustainable ways of working in all aspects along the creative process
Responsible for order placement
Qualifications

You have a genuine passion for fashion and knowledge in what the customer will want and need at a specific time. You are solution oriented and triggered by problem-solving and decision-making.
A higher degree within Business administration, Buying or other relevant area
Experience within Planning, Merchandising or Controlling.
A strong salesmanship and see opportunities for sustainable growth
Strong analytical skills and ability turn the analysis to action
Informal leader, influences and coaches team members and leads by example
Experience and knowledge in Excel
Great communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal

This is a temporary full-time position for 12 months, based in our Head Office in Stockholm.
