Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) delivers essential services, capital works, and municipal services to Indigenous communities across Western Australia’s remote Kimberley region, including the management of power, water, and wastewater systems, as well as critical maintenance and capital works that enhance the quality of life of Indigenous communities.

About the role
We are seeking a Plant Operator with Loader or Grader experience, or an experienced Loader or Grader Operator to join our team.

This role is critical in assisting a small team that helps provide maintenance to municipal services infrastructure, including unsealed roads, airstrips, landfills, and firebreaks throughout Kimberley.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to a significant positive impact on the day-to-day lives of the members of communities serviced by KRSP.

Location and roster
This role is seasonal and will be available from March 2026 until November 2026, with works occurring again in March 2027.

The roster for this role is 14:7, which may vary due to operational requirements.

Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply. FIFO applications will be considered.

What you will need
An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic, integrity and safe work practices together with a positive mindset.
Essential criteria:

• Demonstrated experience operating a Loader or Grader
• Loader or Grader operation ticket
• Ability to work in remote areas cohesively as part of a small team
• Self-motivated and resourceful individual capable of working independently
• Ability to work in remote locations, inclusive of experience with driving on remote unsealed roads
• Current HR class driver’s licence and a clean driving history
• National Police Clearance
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Desirable criteria:

• Experience working in remote communities
• Current HC class driver’s licence
• First aid certification
