Description:
About the Role:
MPK is seeking an experienced Plant and Logistics Supervisor to join our team in the Surat Basin on a 19:9 roster. Reporting to the Superintendent, the ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated, previous experience in leading high performing teams and positive communication skills.

The successful candidate will be the project’s technical advisor for mechanical repairs and will be required to have a good knowledge of MPK inventory of critical spares.

Responsibilities include;

• Safety: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Participate in incident investigations, report incidents to management, and ensure timely resolution of safety and environmental issues.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor and management a team fostering a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project, proactively mitigating risks.
• Co-ordination of daily heavy vehicle movements & developing daily driver schedules
• Forward planning and sourcing of tools and consumables based on work execution requirements
• Onboarding of plant and equipment needed for work packages (includes discussion with suppliers, third party fitters, compliance to MPC Kinetic’s internal plant & equipment processes
• Maintain an organised laydown yard including appropriate storage of materials, plant and equipment based on usage
• Govern the execution of preventative maintenance activities for plant and equipment using 3rd party fitters.

• Trade qualification
• Construction card
• Industry Safety Induction
• HR licence
• HRWL Forklift ticket
• TLIF0005 – Apply a Fatigue Risk Management System
• TLIF0006 – Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System
• HVNL foundations and COR compliance training preferred
• Minimum 4 years experience in trade or relevant industry
• Understanding of multiple trades
• Attention to detail
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in planning, resource allocation, and managing project timelines and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, conducting meetings, and reporting.
• High commercial awareness
