Essential ResponsibilitiesClinical Services
- Provide individual, family, and parent-child therapy services utilizing play therapy and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical interventions.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that address client goals and treatment needs.
- Collaborate with caregivers, schools, medical providers, and other community supports when clinically appropriate.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing board requirements and agency policies.
- Participate in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
Productivity Expectations
- Maintain a weekly goal of 28 completed client sessions.
- Effectively manage scheduling to maintain productivity expectations while ensuring quality clinical care.
- Demonstrate flexibility in accommodating client needs through varied scheduling, including evening appointments.
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including:
- Intake assessments
- Treatment plans
- Progress notes
- Discharge summaries
- Other required clinical documentation
- Maintain compliance with agency policies, state regulations, insurance requirements, and professional ethical standards.
- Ensure treatment plans and documentation remain current and audit-ready.
Professional Development
- Attend and actively participate in required agency meetings, supervision, and trainings.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
- Participate in agency initiatives related to quality improvement and clinical outcomes.
QualificationsRequired
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
- Eligible for or possession of state licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a clinical caseload while maintaining documentation requirements.
- Commitment to trauma-informed and family-centered care.
Preferred
- Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential or working toward credentialing.
- Training or experience in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), directive play therapy, TraumaPlay™, sand tray therapy, or related child-focused modalities.
- Experience treating trauma, anxiety, behavioral concerns, attachment issues, grief, and emotional regulation difficulties.
- EMDR training or interest in pursuing EMDR certification.
Schedule Requirements
- Office-based position.
- Some evening availability is required to meet client and family scheduling needs.
- Full-time schedule with flexibility based on caseload demands.
