Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, reliable and experienced Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, along with related skills such as mechanical knowledge, problem solving, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and attention to detail. Licensed plumbers will have the use of one of our Sprinter service vehicles with the option of taking the vehicle home.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair processes
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential failures
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC teams to coordinate project completion
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain a clean work environment and document work performed for project records
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, schematics, and blueprints reading
- Capable use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites or in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of schematics and ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Willingness to learn and teach new skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $42.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
