ABC Plumbing & HVAC has been serving Ottawa and the valley for over 30 years, we focus on new construction plumbing and HVAC installations for commercial and residential customers. We have a team of skilled technicians and are looking to add to this team.
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Plumber to join our growing team. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday with 42.5 hours per week. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a retirement savings plan.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete all jobs according to the company’s scheduled timeframes
- Achieve or exceed the time frame goals set for the projects
- Complete all installations, service, repairs and maintenance work assigned to meet agreed company requirements (troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs)
- Upon completion of work, ensure proper documentation is complete and payment is collected
- Communicating with clients as necessary
- Maintain proper housekeeping in all aspects (vehicles, tools/equipment, job site, etc.)
- Supervise apprentices providing training and guidance on jobs
- Ensure that there are excellent working relationships and communication channels between the field and office to ensure all aspects of planning and scheduling are effectively completed
- Communicate with the project coordinator and/or project manager on status of jobs
- Order, prepare and manage materials required throughout projects
- Identify and assess project deficiencies and report any deficiencies to the project manager
- Be mindful of time spent to ensure the maximum efficiency of each task
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment
- Mindfully apply local building codes, and health and safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 5 years of plumbing experience
- 306A Plumbing license
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to respond to customer questions and requests
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Hands on experiences in using a variety of power tools and manual equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44.00-$50.00 per hour
