Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Maintenance & Repair

• Carry out basic duties after being shown by a Manager.
• Carry out repairs, installations, maintenance and safety inspections of domestic heating systems & appliances, drainage and water supplies
• Comply with company procedures and relevant health & safety statutory requirements at all times
• Maintain company issued equipment and materials in a clean, serviceable and safe manner
• Performing general plumbing maintenance
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
• Identify and report the need for major repairs
• Manage and maintain resources effectively and efficiently
• Correctly use the job tracking system Salesforce
• Take before and after pictures of all assigned tasks
• Assisting with other general maintenance works (e.g., minor carpentry, painting, or tilling) when required.

Preventative Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing installations.
• Identify early signs of wear, corrosion, or malfunction to prevent costly breakdowns.
• Recommend system upgrades or improvements to the Maintenance Manager.

Client Interaction

• Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, property managers, and site staff.
• Provide clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions.
• Deliver high-quality service that builds client trust and reinforces company reputation.

Health & Safety

• Carry out all works in compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
• Follow company safety procedures, wear PPE, and use tools correctly.
• Report incidents, accidents, and near misses immediately.

Candidate Profile

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year’s plumbing experience in residential or commercial environments.
• Strong knowledge of water supply, heating, and sanitation systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Competency in additional trades (basic carpentry, tiling, or decorating) is an advantage.

Required Certifications

• OFTEC registration and oil boiler experience (required)
• Strong domestic/residential experience (Essential)
• Safe Pass (Essential)
• Manual Handling (Required)
• Plumbing qualification
• Full clean driver’s licence (Essential)
