Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair, providing a foundation for a successful career in the plumbing and construction industry. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with project planning
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
• Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components according to specifications
• Perform basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on job sites
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing, construction, or related trades
• Familiarity with carpentry, or maintenance work is a plus
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and blueprint reading is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to read schematics and perform basic math calculations relevant to plumbing tasks
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills on the job site
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
