Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) are looking for an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join our Essential Services team in Broome, leading the delivery of scheduled reactive and emergency maintenance across water and wastewater infrastructure throughout the Kimberley.

About the Role
You will lead a team responsible for delivering planned maintenance, preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response across critical water and wastewater infrastructure under the Remote Essential Services Program (RESP).
This is a hands-on leadership position where no two days are the same. You’ll coordinate maintenance programs, mentor your team, ensure safety and compliance, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable services to remote communities.
You’ll split your time between our Broome regional office, the field and travelling throughout the Kimberley region.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Plumbing Supervisor you will:
- Lead, mentor and supervise a small team of plumbers and field personnel
- Coordinate planned, preventative and reactive maintenance programs in consultation with the Operations Manager
- Schedule resources and prioritise work across multiple communities
- Provide technical advice and support to your team
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to contractual standards
- Monitor asset performance and investigate equipment failures
- Conduct field inspections and quality assurance activities
- Work collaboratively with Operations, HSEQ and HR to continuously improve systems and performance
- Support employee development, performance management and training
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure, maintenance practices and service delivery
- Participate in an after-hours support roster when required
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys leading from the front and thrives in a dynamic environment.
You’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Plumbing, holding WA Plumbing Tradesperson’s Licence (essential)
- Demonstrated experience supervising plumbing or essential services teams
- Knowledge of water and wastewater utility infrastructure, including network, pumping, storage and treatment-related assets.
- Experience planning and coordinating maintenance activities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence (HR licence advantageous)
- Experience working in regional or remote environments is highly regarded
