Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Post-Construction Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing newly constructed or renovated buildings for occupancy in the Tampa area. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be safety-conscious, and work efficiently to meet deadlines.

What would your day look like?

You will begin your work day by reviewing your scheduling app. Using this, you will drive to your first assigned job utilizing your own personal, insured vehicle.

Once on site, you will work to ensure cleans are completed based on the information provided on your schedule. You may be completing a rough clean, final clean, touch up clean, clubhouse clean, or window clean depending on the stage of construction. You may need to work independently or within a team to ensure the work is completed.

You will be communicating with your team and management throughout the day by using your phone to access our schedule and team communication app, uploading pictures and any additional information into these apps as work is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rough cleans, final cleans, and touch up cleans of newly built or renovated structures, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Remove construction debris, dust, adhesive residue, paint splatter, and other post-construction materials.
• Clean all surfaces including walls, ceilings, floors, windows, fixtures, and appliances.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; polish surfaces as needed.
• Wash and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens.
• Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and quality standards before handoff to clients or occupants.
• Safely handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report any damage or safety issues to supervisors.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Key Skills:

• PHYSICAL ABILITY: Utilize your physical strength as you walk, climb multi-level stairs, bend, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs. during work hours. Stand on your feet up to 8 hours per day. Have endurance to quickly clean while maintaining company and client standards.
• SUPPLY KNOWLEDGE and MANAGEMENT: Leverage your knowledge of cleaning chemicals, storage, and disposal methods to ensure a safe and environmentally friendly approach. Manage your supply usage effectively.
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly within our team-oriented atmosphere.
• ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Apply your excellent organizational skills to efficiently complete timed tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of our cleaning process.
• SELF MOTIVATION: Your self-motivation will shine as you identify and complete tasks without constant supervision, making your mark on each assignment.
• ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Your attention to detail, even the smallest ones, will be highly used.
• TECHNICAL SKILLS: Utilize your phone to clock in and out, communicate in apps, upload pictures, and be able to read and follow written instructions.
• BILINGUAL: Must be able to read and write in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with site personal and coworkers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
