- Research Planning and Execution: Design and conduct experiments in synthetic organic chemistry. Analyze experimental data and maintain accurate records of research activities.
- Publication and Communication: Prepare and submit manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Present research findings at conferences and departmental seminars.
- Lab Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- A Ph.D. in organic chemistry or a closely related field.
- Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Experience with photochemistry and ultrafast spectroscopy.
- Experience with modern analytical techniques such as NMR/EPR, MS, and chromatography.
- Familiarity with computational chemistry tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a research team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
