Postdoctoral Researcher (Infectious Diseases Unit)

Education and qualifications:

Required:

Doctoral Degree in Biosciences


English is required


Desired:
  • Experience in working with the virology and immunology of HIV, and related laboratory techniques
  • Experience in working in a BSL3 laboratory


Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in animal work, molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry techniques.
  • Experience in the Virology field
  • Experience with FlowJo and/or OMIQ software
  • Ability to work independently.

Desired:
  • Experience in working with the virology and immunology of HIV, and related laboratory techniques
  • Experience in working in a BSL3 laboratory


Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Designing, planning, and executing experiments of research projects
  • Analyzing and interpreting experimental data
  • Writing and submitting research papers to peer-reviewed journals
  • Presenting research findings at conferences


Labour conditions:

  • Full-time position: 40h/week
  • Starting date: immediate
  • Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are in accodance with our Collective Agreement pay scale
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
