We are currently seeking a Full-Time Powder Coater to join our team based in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

• Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
• Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems.
• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
• Determine powder flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using viscometers.
• Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
• Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility.
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
• Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures.
• Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years powder experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Hourly Compensation: $18 - 20/hr
