Powersports Service Manager

We are looking for a skilled service manager for our Polaris and small engine repair shop in Monticello, IA. Candidates must have previous mechanic experience (powersports experience a huge plus), have their own tools, prior experience as a service manager, and be able to lead a team of 2-3 other mechanics.

Duties

• Take customer calls and line up appointments.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on Polaris SxS's & ATV's, various brands of lawn mowers and other small engine machines.
• Creating and filling out service tickets in the computer system.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers regarding their repair needs and options.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in small engine technology.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is required.
• Dealership experience is a plus, particularly in automotive service management.
• Proficient with computers.
• Proficient in service writing and estimating processes.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
• Must be able to work full time in Monticello, IA.
• Must have your own tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
