PR & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, IITTALA

We are looking for a PR and Communications Manager to develop and drive our global public relations strategy to ensure IITTALA has a consistent and cohesive voice and experience across all internal and external PR, communications, partnerships, and global event initiatives.
Reporting to our Head or Marketing, this hybrid role will be based at our HQ in Espoo, Finland.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this new role, you will develop and drive our global PR strategy & processes. You will create PR plans and toolkits that align with our brand strategy and meet the needs of our diverse markets. An experienced communicator, you will ensure key stakeholders understand of our strategy, plan, processes, & deliverables. You have a proven record of budget management and know how to maximise financial resources.
Develop the annual and seasonal PR plan for both print and digital
Develop PR toolkit and guidelines that help us go to market globally and locally, following goals and PR content creation
Create new ways to generate exposure and excitement around the brand, ensuring alignment with our commercial calendar
Plan & oversee global PR events, like 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen
Lead and develop relationships to key media, take ownership on IITTALA’s presence in earned media
Select and manage media connections and partnerships while ensuring partners are in line with brand DNA
Lead the work of our PR agencies: set targets, brief projects, and ensure performance
Manage corporate PR and issue management, creating a proactive approach
WHO YOU ARE
A proactive problem solver, you have strong relationships with media, KOLs, stylists, and management in the design & premium goods industries. You have your finger on the cultural pulse and are up to date on the latest trends & developments in Europe and beyond.
Minimum 4 years’ work experience in PR and marketing communications required
Fully fluent in English is a must. Similar ability with either Finnish, Swedish or Japanese language is an advantage
Excellent planning and organization skills, with a drive to meet tight deadlines
Proven record of collaboration across matrix organizations and external global partners
