Introduction:
About the Business
We’re a growing, forward-thinking business delivering high-quality modular construction solutions right here in Armidale.
At Uniplan Group, we do things differently — combining smart systems, efficient manufacturing, and a strong team culture to deliver projects faster and better.
As one of NSW’s largest modular building manufacturers and leaders in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), we bring over 25 years of experience to everything we do. Our Armidale factory is a dynamic production environment, where buildings move through a precise, regulated ‘drum beat’ — transforming from a steel chassis into a completed, ready-to-occupy building in as little as 21 days.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who want to be part of something bigger — building not just projects, but a strong future for our team and community.
Our Mission
To be a role model in our field, support our local community, elevate our people, and build lasting relationships — all within a hardworking, family-oriented culture grounded in strong ethics.
Our Values
- We’re a team of spirited, hardworking people
- We innovate to grow
- We make a difference
- We believe in what we do
- We make things easy for our customers
- We show respect to one another
The Role
As a Pre-Construction Administration Support team member, you’ll play an important role in supporting the coordination of projects from sales through to production.
Working closely with our Pre-Construction and Operations teams, you’ll assist in ensuring project information is accurate, complete, and ready for the factory to deliver.
You’ll also have regular interaction with clients, assisting them through the pre-construction process — helping to finalise selections, colours, and specifications, and ensuring their vision is captured and delivered accurately.
This is a detail-focused, administrative role suited to someone who enjoys organisation, working across multiple tasks, providing excellent customer service, and supporting a team to keep projects moving.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a fast-growing, innovative construction business
- Work across a variety of residential and commercial projects
- Supportive team with strong systems and processes
- Opportunity to learn, develop, and grow within the business
- Proudly regional, industry-leading manufacturing environment
- Assist with compiling and maintaining project specifications
- Support the coordination of project handovers and documentation
- Work with clients to finalise selections, colours, and project details
- Provide updates to clients and ensure a high level of customer service throughout the process
- Ensure plans, contracts, and records are accurate and up to date
- Assist with managing variations and tracking changes
- Maintain project data across systems (Salesforce, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Liaise with internal teams and assist with client communications where required
- Support preparation of documentation for factory release
- Assist with contractor compliance documentation
- Help track project costing, variations, and invoicing support
- Assist in preparing handover packs including manuals and certifications
- Provide general administrative support to the Pre-Construction team, including answering phones, assisting with stationery orders, and day-to-day office tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work with clients to bring their vision to life while balancing practical requirements
- Confident communicator with a team-first mindset
- Strong customer-focused approach with the ability to work directly with clients
- An eye for detail when it comes to selections, finishes, and specifications
- Strong administrative skills and systems awareness
- Experience in administration, construction, or project support (preferred)
- Experience with systems like Salesforce, Smartsheet or similar (advantageous)
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
If you’re highly organised, enjoy supporting a team, and want to be part of a growing business doing things differently, we’d love to hear from you.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
