About Us:
Don Vance Ford, a trusted name in the Marshfield automotive community, is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Pre-Owned Sales Manager to lead and grow our pre-owned vehicle department. As a part of our dynamic leadership team, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, developing talent, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the pre-owned vehicle sales operation, including inventory, pricing, and team performance.
- Set and achieve monthly sales goals and profit objectives for the department.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver outstanding results and customer service.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, reconditioning timelines, and pricing strategy to maximize turn and gross.
- Implement and execute effective marketing strategies (digital and on-lot) to attract and retain buyers.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to align with overall dealership goals.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and state regulations.
- Track and analyze department performance using CRM, DMS, and third-party platforms.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of automotive sales management experience (preferably in pre-owned).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a high-performing team.
- Solid understanding of used car inventory management, pricing tools (e.g., VAuto), and reconditioning workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
