Precision Quality Inspector

This role performs in-process and final inspections on precision-machined parts to tight tolerances, interprets blueprints, and documents nonconformances to ensure compliance with quality standards. This is a Direct Hire position with a pay rate range of $25-$30/hr DOE. The hours are M-F 7 AM-3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0002"
• Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
• Use advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance
• Identify and document nonconformances, initiate NCRs, and support root cause investigations
• Partner with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards and continuous improvement
• Support quality documentation and inspection records for customer and aerospace requirements

MUST HAVES

• 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining
• Experience working with tight tolerances (down to .0005" or tighter) required
• Strong blueprint reading skills (GD&T preferred)
• Previous experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:
