This role performs in-process and final inspections on precision-machined parts to tight tolerances, interprets blueprints, and documents nonconformances to ensure compliance with quality standards. This is a Direct Hire position with a pay rate range of $25-$30/hr DOE. The hours are M-F 7 AM-3:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0002"
- Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
- Use advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance
- Identify and document nonconformances, initiate NCRs, and support root cause investigations
- Partner with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards and continuous improvement
- Support quality documentation and inspection records for customer and aerospace requirements
MUST HAVES
- 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining
- Experience working with tight tolerances (down to .0005" or tighter) required
- Strong blueprint reading skills (GD&T preferred)
- Previous experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
