Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven preconstruction 4D Planner to support our pre-construction and bid activities. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for visual storytelling, digital construction, and translating complex delivery strategies into clear, compelling motion. You will turn programs and design information into visual narratives that show clients exactly how we will build their project — stage-by-stage, risk-aware, and achievable.

Key requirements

Core Skill Set

  • Familiarity with major planning or modelling tools: P6, MS Project, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, IFC workflows

  • Solid grasp of construction phasing and logistics — even if still developing on the software side

  • Ability to tell the story of project delivery clearly

  • Strong attention to detail, creating realistic outputs, and produce clarity for clients

Experience

  • 2+ years in one of the following: o Planning / site engineering / digital construction / architectural BIM / visualisation

  • Exposure to large-scale construction projects (data centres, pharma, industrial, commercial, residential) is an advantage

  • Experience with preconstruction or tender preparation is desirable, not mandatory

  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating sequencing or animation is highly valuable

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree level education equivalent to EQF Level 6 within engineering, construction or architecture preferred, however other educational backgrounds are welcome to apply

As a member of the bid team, you will be required to have an open and adaptable approach to developing solutions, together with excellent communication and collaboration skills. We need people who can distil complex engineering concepts into simple graphical explanations, ensuring technical accuracy and completeness throughout. You will be key member of the bid team, shaping winning responses. You will organise and facilitate collaborative workshops to discuss logistics, planning and execution sequencing with planners, operations and preconstruction teams throughout the processes.

The role will be based in our Copenhagen Office in Hoje Taastrup 2630, working within bid management, in the preconstruction department, supporting projects across the European region.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Preconstruction Manager, your key responsibilities for the role will include, but not limited to the following:

4D Tender Animations

  • Develop 4D tender animations aligning construction sequencing with design models and programmes

  • Build visual simulations that reflect logistics, phasing, access, commissioning, trade interfaces, and client constraints

  • Interpret programme logic from planners and convert into structured visual timelines

  • Integrate 3D/BIM models, construction drawings, and staging plans into coherent animations

  • Visual simulations of logistics routes, laydown zones, tower crane movements, and commissioning windows

  • Stage-by-stage storytelling for interviews, client workshops, and internal decision reviews

  • Work with planners, bid teams, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and realism

  • Produce short, clear visual explainers for stakeholder presentations and tender interviews

  • Maintain version control and a structured digital workflow for iterative bid changes

  • Provide visual support for technical narratives, methodology documents, and procurement strategies

  • Produce 2D logistics and phasing diagrams from the models and information to form part of the bid for logistics and programme narratives

BIM Coordination

  • Work with the bid team to review and evaluate the models and information provided by the client

  • Host the models in a suitable platform or format, ensuring access for all relevant parties

  • Evaluate the models for a completeness perspective, reviewing and commenting on the required LOD, and deliverables requested from the design team

  • Assist the team with adding additional models and viewpoints etc

Other duties

  • Complete work for other ad hoc requests to support the region, as agreed with line manager

Other requirements

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills

  • Danish, Swedish, Finnish or another European language is beneficial

  • Right to work in Denmark preferred. Support with permit application process will be provided
