Job Description

We are recruiting a Preconstruction Document Controller to support our bid and estimating departments. You will work within a high-performing preconstruction team, contributing to the successful completion of tenders for large-scale data centres, pharma facilities, power infrastructure, public works, and complex commercial projects.

Key Requirements

Core Skill Set

  • The successful candidate will have ideally worked in a similar environment with excellent administration skills

  • Able to adapt and work on multiple projects/tasks at any given time

  • Be able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines

  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and associated software

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required

  • Understanding and experience of the Construction Industry

Experience

  • Knowledge of major construction projects, architectural and engineering drawings and document processes

  • 2-5 years administration experience, desirable

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree level education equivalent to EQF Level 5 preferred, however other educational backgrounds will be considered

As a member of the bid team, you will be required to have an open and adaptable approach to developing solutions, together with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The role will be based in our Copenhagen Office in Hoje Taastrup 2630, working within bid management, in the preconstruction department, supporting projects across the European region.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Preconstruction Manager in Denmark, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the other functions within the department

  • Collating tender trackers, minutes and other relevant documents at the direction of the pre-construction manager

  • Updating workload trackers and populating CRM databases

  • Preparing tender and contract documents

  • Collating relevant tender information for the estimator

  • Preparing subcontract packages for distribution to the market

  • Supply chain management in terms of updating the tender list and CRM

  • Ensuring all quotations are complete and returned within strict deadlines

  • Answering and distributing telephone calls in relation to tenders, dealing directly with the query or passing on to the relevant person responsible

  • Undertaking general admin duties

  • Assisting with the general running of the office supporting other departments as needed

  • Supporting other departments with engagement of local supply chain members, consultants and other parties

Other requirements

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills

  • Danish, Swedish, Finnish or other European language is beneficial

  • Right to work in Denmark preferred. Support with permit application process will be provided

  • Periodic travel will be required throughout Europe
