We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Prep Cook to support our pepper processing operations. This role involves guiding and assisting with pepper picking, preparing produce for dehydration, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. If you're passionate about food prep, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and have an eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Harvest Support: Guide the picker on which peppers to harvest and assist with field picking.
  • Produce Processing: Wash, slice, and extract seeds from peppers, then dehydrate the flesh according to process standards.
  • Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment that meets “A” rating health standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with pickers and the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage tasks.
  • Experience with produce handling, food prep, or kitchen work is an asset.
  • Physically capable of working on your feet and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Available to work 6 days per week, including weekends.
  • Attention to cleanliness, quality, and safety.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of indoor prep kitchen and outdoor harvesting.
  • May involve repetitive motion, long periods of standing, and seasonal work volume changes.
