The Opportunity

Howe Sound Taphouse and Kitchen (East Vancouver) serves award-winning ales and lagers fresh from the brewery. Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood.

We are currently seeking a reliable, passionate Dishwasher/ Prep Cook to join our impressive BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for hospitality and upscale service.

What You’ll Do

· Ensure consistent food preparation and presentation of the highest calibre.

· Have a passion for food and the hospitality industry.

· Govern safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.

· Keep up with industry trends.

· Partake in menu planning with the management team.

· Other duties as assigned.

What You Have

· Previous experience in an upscale/casual dining and beverage setting.

· Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.

· Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
