Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy and math skills, and effectively managing classroom behavior. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to support the educational growth of each child.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning of all students, including those with special needs or disabilities.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and share best practices for teaching methods.
  • Provide individualized support to children as needed, including those with autism or other developmental challenges.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with early childhood education trends.

Experience

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
  • Experience in behavior management strategies and working with children who have special needs is highly desirable.
  • Previous classroom experience that showcases your ability to create an engaging learning environment.
