Position Title: Preschool Paraprofessional

Location: QRSD Integrated Preschool

Reports to: Building Principal/Director of Student Support Services

Qualifications:

· Associate’s Degree or Pass Para-Pro Exam

· Experience working with students in classroom setting, including special education and those with behavioral challenges

· Knowledge of effective instructional techniques and strategies

· Excellent oral & written communication skills

· Ability to work effectively with students, co-workers, and parents when needed

· Must have good attention to detail and be alert at all times

· Must be a positive role model

· Ability to remain calm and patient at all times

Responsibilities:

· Provide adequate supervision of students at all times

· Provide instructional support to students either individually or in small groups

· Take direction from teachers and administration, and BCBA

· Assist classroom teacher with daily lessons and classroom activities

· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and material

· Other duties as assigned

Salary: Per Para-Professional Bargaining Unit Contract
