Preschool Teacher Assistant
Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool-aged children
- Create and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs, including those with autism
- Develop and implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and incidents
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and program policies
-Multitask with children and different activities in classroom
-Create a positive work enviroment for coworkers
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool programs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other staff members
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
