About the Position

We are looking for a warm, nurturing, and dependable Preschool or Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where toddlers can learn, explore, and grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for toddlers in a safe and welcoming classroom environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Establish consistent classroom routines and positive guidance strategies.
• Support children's growing independence, communication, and self-help skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families about children's experiences and development.
• Observe and document children's learning and developmental progress.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and other staff members.
• Follow all health, safety, licensing, and center policies and procedures.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred.
• Early childhood education coursework or a related degree is a plus.
• Must have a valid toddler teacher certification from EEC.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Patience, creativity, dependability, and a genuine love of working with young children.
• Ability to meet all state and center licensing requirements.
