DE LA FONTAINE Industries, a designer and manufacturer of steel doors and frames, is currently looking for a candidate to fill a Press Brake Operator position for its Sacramento facility. Our company expertise and reputation for reliability is based on more than 50 years of experience in the steel door and steel frame industry.

The bending press operator is responsible for shaping steel sheets according to technical specifications for the manufacturing of steel doors. They must ensure the quality of the produced parts while complying to safety and production standards. We are looking for a skilled and diligent bending press operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of bending presses to produce metal parts that meet the required specifications for our steel doors and frames.

Your role:

• Set up and program bending equipment according to order specifications;
• Install and adjust tools according to the specifications of the parts to be bent;
• Execute bending operations while following precise instructions;
• Ensure that the dimensions and bending angles meet production requirements;
• Inspect bent parts to guarantee their compliance with quality standards and technical specifications;
• Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance on bending presses;
• Use precision tools such as calipers.

Working hours: Permanent. Day shift. 40h/week from 7am to 3:30pm(Possibility of working overtime)

Salary: From $20.00/h to $22.00/h.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• You have previous experience as a bending press operator or in a similar position in the manufacturing sector (an asset);
• You have knowledge of metallic materials, particularly steel, and bending techniques;
• You have the ability to read and interpret technical plans and blueprints;
• You are precise and show attention to detail to ensure high-quality bends;
• You have the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the bending process;
• You have a professional or personal experience using small tools;
• You are reliable and you work in a meticulous, rigorous and versatile way;
