Day Shift available: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and Every Other Thursday: 5am-5:15pm

The Press Set up Technician is responsible for collecting and staging needed supplies at the individual press stations by utilizing the detailed production schedule to prioritize activities needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilize the Set-Up Checklist to confirm all needed materials are at press for upcoming orders. Including ticket, material, ink, dies, plate cylinders and plates and aniloxes.
• Mount Plates on press.
• Stage completed supply cart at the press and notify the press operator the next job is staged and ready.
• Remove parts from completed jobs from the press. Including, inks, plates, cylinders, dies, aniloxes and dirty ink pans.
• Clean press parts and pans and stage for next use.
• Assist operators during set-up to reduce downtime.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the wash up sink areas.
• Help improve efficiencies where opportunities arise.
• Stock ink, dip trays, flex dies and tint sleeves.
• Review work orders to ensure the tooling is updated for each job.
• Track yearly usage of tolling (color coding).
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Machining or related work experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/twist/turn/bend/stoop.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Attention to detail.
• Dependable
