About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and licensed Principal Architect to lead and support architectural design and project execution across a range of innovative projects.

This role requires a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to oversee projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, creativity, and a deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and documentation across all project phases
• Develop and review drawings, plans, and specifications using Revit
• Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, building codes, and regulations
• Oversee construction administration, including submittal reviews and RFIs
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design integrity
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Support project delivery timelines, quality standards, and client expectations

QualificationsEducation & Licensing

• Licensed Architect in the state of California (required)
• Additional licenses in other states or countries are a plus
• LEED Certification is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional architectural experience
• Proven experience across design, documentation, and construction phases
• Experience in construction administration required

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Revit (required)
• Comprehensive understanding of zoning regulations and building codes
• Ability to produce and review detailed construction documents

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel to and visit construction sites as needed
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to design excellence

Pay: $144,103.55 - $173,544.05 per year
