Allied Print is a well-established commercial printing company based in the outskirts of Cork City, providing high-quality print solutions to a wide range of clients.

We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Print Finisher to join our production team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work within our finishing department, operating a variety of print finishing machinery to ensure jobs are completed to the highest standard, on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and setting up print finishing equipment including:

- Guillotines

- Folding machines

- Creasing and Die-Cutting machines

- Gathering, stitching and trimming equipment

- Laminators and other finishing machinery

- Reading and interpreting job specifications

- Ensuring quality control throughout the finishing process

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

- Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

- Working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines

Requirements

- Previous experience in a print finishing environment is highly desirable

- Experience operating finishing machinery such as guillotines, folders, stitchers, trimmers, and laminators would be beneficial.

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good time management and organisational skills

- A strong awareness of health and safety practices

On site training will also be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30,000.00-€34,000.00 per year
