Job Overview:

The Printing Press Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the printing process to ensure the highest quality output at the lowest possible cost, while meeting customer specifications and on-time delivery expectations. This role reports directly to the Press Team Lead and Press Operator, operating within company guidelines and maintaining a daily focus on performance and productivity goals.

Shift Details:

3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate with the Team Lead or Press Operator to receive and understand work assignments.
• Maintain accuracy in all tasks to ensure production quality and cost efficiency.
• Verify production quantities to meet job requirements.
• Safely obtain and load products onto skids following standard procedures.
• Assist with and complete special projects as assigned.
• Accurately complete and maintain necessary paperwork and production documentation.
• Comply with all safety protocols, company rules, and operating procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with departmental housekeeping standards.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous machine operation experience within a manufacturing environment required.
• Comfortable with mechanical tasks and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and endure frequent bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow basic instructions, written specifications, and procedures in English.
  
• Basic mathematical capability for handling job-related calculations.
• Must have a keen attention to detail and a focus on task accuracy.
